A Short History of Hacking

August 29th, 2006 · No Comments

Neatorama has a nice short overview of hacking. Going from Cpn Crunch, 2600, Woz and Jobs right through to the Melissa Virus and DVD Jon. It’s a little out of date to be honest (DVD Jon attacking iTunes DRM? Well yes, two years ago) and very light on details. But it is an excellent primer for anyone wanting to get up to speed fast on hacking history.

I wouldn’t leave it at just this though if you want to hold court with your hacking ‘leetness’*.
