To this looks like it has hardly changed at all. The new mini was always surprisingly large and now it’s even larger. How much larger can BMW make this thing and still call it a mini? All the changes are really minor, no surprise as the mini sells like hot cakes, so I don’t see why this is getting a huge relaunch. Redesigned door panels!! Really? How very interesting.
I’ve looked into a buying a new mini twice. The first time I decided the milage of the Cooper wasn’t good enough to justify switching from my MGF. The second was only recently as we’re looking at replacing my new Beetle. The boot was only just enough to get a folded pram into it but the killer was the back of the car, it has no space at all and look depressingly dark and cramped. I’ll stick with the Beetle thanks.
