Native Firefox for OS X

August 18th, 2006 · No Comments

Cocoa builds of Firefox are starting to do the rounds, the sooner Firefox ditches that dire Windows like XUL front end the better. It’s just not OS X, OK.

It’s like the math geek coming into the room in a James Bond suit and oozing cool, like the elephant in the corner being visible, like Bush making a good foreign policy decision. You know it’s all wrong and you want things to change.

Enter Minefield, the beta codename for the cocoa version of Firefox. Just don’t hold your breath for the full release though.
