Is your dog on pot?

September 7th, 2006 · 1 Comment

So what do you think the biggest news in Canada is right now? Afganistan? Iraq? Iran? A local mega issue? No. In a similar vain to Snakes on a Plane we have Dogs on Pot. Say it in the same voice as Pigs in Space and it’s great fun.

I mean, how do you even answer that question? Is my dog on pot? Hmmmm. How do I tell? He does appear to be giggling incessantly, playing waaaay too much Playstation, and every second word out of his mouth is “Duuuude”. Does it matter? So they get a little lazier, so what? Or are they suggesting that pot is a gateway drug, and next my dog might come home ripped on crystal meth? He might start hanging out with the wrong crowd?

So what happens now? The US drug czar is going to declare a war on dogs? Then pooches everywhere rise up (slowly) and march in the streets yelling, “legalize it”?

Canadian news, gotta love it. Seems it is managing to not be news at all. Is the Province always like this? Which Canadian newspaper should an Independent reader buy?

I’m getting to really like the BeyondRobson.com blog.

Added by me as Spam Karma seems to have gone insane. I’ve set it to Moderate now instead of normal and enabled a human test for pretty much all comments. I’m hoping that tames SK.

I’d hate to think people are having problems adding comments to CR, my apologies if you are. Just drop me an email and I will try and sort it out ASAP.
