Robots built from Trash

September 30th, 2006 · No Comments

I love the design on these recycled parts robots, it’s how I always see robots in my head; 50s style.

These robot sculptures, created by Gordon Bennett, are made from a mixture of found objects which are both old and new. The parts are found in various places including garbage dumps, basements, construction sites, and garage sales.

Bennett Robots are inspired by Norman Bel Geddes and Raymond Loewy whose visions of the ‘Modern Age’ helped shape industrial design of the 40s and 50s.
