What the public demands, the public gets.

I’ve had a major HDD fk up which has lost me a load of photos, I’ve recovered most of them but I’ve lost June/July/August pictures. My backups didn’t have those months in - no clue why, I’d made a mess of my backups - I’ve recovered about 3.2K images so far. Further attempts are ongoing.

As you can see by the spanky new countdown timers the house sale is basically upon us. We’re running out of time fast and yet we’re not organised for it really. I’ve been sorting through the garage and found about 10 HDDs and enough bits to make at least one PC. I’ll take a pic of the HDDs at some point. Some of them are 218 MB. That’s old. They are all going to go through the hammer and bleach dip process; no way are those going to be readable after that.

I’ve a load of stuff to either sell or give away. Comics a plenty. Like the first Excaliburs, Cerebus, Akira and much more. All stuff I’m not going to ship to Canada and not merch that normal places will buy, we’ve a tiny comic book store in town and I’m not sure if they buy as well as sell. I guess I’ll call them and see.

Other than that we’ve a house full of things like washing machines, dryers, bookshelfs and so on. Five bookcases in fact, we’re taking a select few hundred books, the rest will also need giving away or selling.

Let me tell you this moving around the world business is not straightforward.

I’m just typing out this quick post to let you know that the physical world is taking priority over the digital one and that posts are going to be slower. Hang on though come the end of October things should be on a better footing. I hope.
