From iPod to TV for about 3 dollars

November 28th, 2006 · No Comments

iPod video cables seem to be 25 dollars and up, cables on Apple.com are $59.00.

You need to get a 3.5 mm to red/yellow/white cable, (one 3.5mm male to three AV male pins). The Source/Circuit City/Best Buy or Future Shop all carry these. Or of course you can froogle for the cheapest cables around. The cheapest are about 3 dollars not inc. shipping.

Here’s how to plug in the cables:

- Plug the red plug into your TVs yellow socket
- Plug the yellow plug into your TVs white socket
- Plug the white plug into your TVs red socket

Remember to go into your iPod Video’s setting and enable video out.
