National Novel Writing Month is here again. I’m not sure if I’m able to even try for the 50K work count this year – last year I managed 30K in the end. I don’t have much time right now and I do have so many other things that need doing as well as a whole bunch of personal issues that need sorting out. So far I slapped together 700 words. The one thing I do have is a fking great concept for a novel. Seriously. This is fantastic idea that fits right in with ongoing trends. Of course I actually need to write it at some point …

A great, crazy start! New beginnings! Life is sweet! The site is currently slow as all get-out, and will continue to be very turtley for a couple of days, as everyone updates their word counts and novel excerpts in a maelstrom of posting fury.
