Interesting, but I don’t get why different areas of the USA have different ages of consent and different sex laws, very silly. Make a law and stick with it for the whole of the country.

The average age of consent worldwide is 16, the only places that don’t have set age of consent laws now seem to be highly unstable places. I wonder how much of the earth this table covers?

Pretty amazing that the age of consent in Canada is 14, it makes sense though. I think a lot of kids are ready to get jiggy with their peers at that age; legal or not.

Not sure what the problem is with gay sex, if you’re allowing sex at 16 (for example) then allow gay sex at the same age. Sex is sex whether you are gay or straight. Why discriminate with such a difference?

A recent government survey in the UK found that one third* of people had sex under 16, the age of consent.

* Filled with alarmist rubbish trotted out by the Daily Mail on a regular basis. Sex is good as long as your safe and truthful; don’t buy into the sex is bad and dirty crap.
