I’d like a LaCie 500GB d2 Quadra Hard Drive, eSATA, FireWire 800/400 and USB 2.0 hard disk drive (HDD).
I love having hard disk space. I’m forever running out and the above would help a great deal. I’ve two Western Digital 160GB 3.5″ HDDs doing nothing right now, as I have to buy USB2/FireWire 400 enclosures for them. I have two USB2 drives attached to my Airport Extreme WiFi via a hub, one’s a Western Digital 260GB the other is a LaCie Brick 300GB. The PowerBook has a 60GB HDD. This means I have a possible total of 940GB HDD right now.
And I’m still running short on space.
Adding another 500GB would be great and the above drive is a superb performer and LaCie drives are tough. 1.44TB disk space would be nice.
Edit: Oh and I solved our ongoing Internet disconnection issues on our landlords crappy Linksys WiFi router. I switched off UPNP. That simple. The stupid thing was hanging on to ports until it got so many it froze itself. I didn’t see this documented anywhere so it may be handy for others to know.
