August 20th, 2007 · 2 Comments

Caffeine is a tiny program that puts an icon in the right side of your menu bar. Click it to prevent your Mac from automatically going to sleep, dimming the screen or starting screen savers. Click it again to go back. Hold down the Command key while clicking to show the menu.

Lighthead – Caffeine

I tried this app and my speakers still stopped, my internet still disconnected. Those are the things I wanted to disable sleep for (internet radio through itunes at night while i sleep)

the instant i close my MB, the music stops and my net connection is severed…this is with Caffeine’s big X over the Zzzz’s.

    Oh well…
