Wired has a nice guide on how to burn a DVD on your Mac. It pretty much relies on www.mactheripper.org/ which I’ve mentioned here a few times before. It strips off restrictions like region encoding and other dumb stuff that companies like to force on us for no good reason.

I have this package now in high definition. It’s pretty good quality, though it is a shame the case is plastic and not metal.
Now I need to buy a high definition player … maybe a PS3.
